  • This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how MicroFluent, operated by VERO GROUP ("MicroFluent," "we," "us," or "our"), processes, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information that we gather from you at vero-microfluent.com.

     

    MicroFluent is a public-facing microsite where influencers can submit their information (without registration or login). The data collected through MicroFluent is stored in our internal database, which is accessible only to authorized Vero staff. This internal database is used exclusively by Vero group entities to support our team with influencer identification for specific projects and campaigns.

    • Internal Database: The database system where submitted information is stored, accessible exclusively by authorized staff of the Vero group of companies.

    • Influencer: An individual who submits their personal information and social media details through MicroFluent to showcase their social media presence and profile for potential brand collaborations.

    • Data Controller: The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. 

    • Data Processor: The entity that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller. 

  • We collect and process various categories of personal information to operate our services effectively. The specific types of personal information we collect may include:

    4.1 Identity and Profile Information 

    • Full name and username/handle 

    • Social media account names and profiles 

    • Profile pictures and avatar images 

    • Nationality  

    • Contact information

    • Matching influencers with appropriate brand opportunities 

    • Identifying suitable influencers for specific campaigns 

    • Analyzing influencer performance and suitability for partnerships

    • Communicating about collaboration opportunities or policy updates 

    • Responding to your inquiries and support requests 

    • Conducting surveys and collecting feedback 

    • Inviting you to events and webinars

    8.1 Within the Vero Group of Companies

    The information collected through MicroFluent is stored in an internal database exclusively accessible to the Vero entities listed in Section 2 for the purposes described in this Policy. Your complete profile information will only be accessible to:

    • Authorized MicroFluent team members 

    • Internal brand teams working directly with us 

    We do not currently provide direct database access to clients or third parties.

    8.2 Vero Clients (Limited Disclosure)

    We may share limited information with Vero clients for specific brand collaboration opportunities after initial matching. We will only contact you directly if a client expresses interest in potential collaboration . We do not provide clients with direct database access. Information shared is strictly limited to what is necessary for considering potential collaborations, which may include:

    • Basic profile information (name, niche, follower count)

    • Relevant metrics for campaign consideration

    • Content samples you've explicitly approved for sharing

    No contact information will be shared without your explicit consent for a specific opportunity.

    ​8.3 Business Transfers

    If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on MicroFluent of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.

    8.4 Legal Compliance and Protection 

    We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court or government agency).

    8.5 With Your Consent 

    We may share your personal information with other third parties when we have your consent to do so.

  • As we operate across multiple countries in Southeast Asia, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your country of residence. This means that your information may be processed internally in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

    When we transfer personal information outside of your country of residence, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws, which may include:

    • Inactive Accounts: For inactive accounts, we may retain information for up to 3 years to maintain our database integrity 

    • Commercial Information: We retain information about collaborations and commercial arrangements for as long as necessary for business and tax purposes 

    10.4 Requesting Deletion

    You can request deletion of your information at any time. See Section 11 for more information on your rights and how to exercise them. 

  • 11.1 Depending on applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction, you may have various rights regarding your personal information. These may include: 

    • Access Rights: You have the right to request information about the personal information we hold about you and to obtain a copy of that information. 

    • Rectification Rights: You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information or the completion of incomplete personal information. 

    • Erasure Rights: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. 

    • Restriction Rights: You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as when you are contesting the accuracy of your information.

  • MicroFluent is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personal information from Children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the revised Policy on MicroFluent with a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. In some cases, we may also notify you by sending you an email before the changes take effect.

    This privacy policy is designed specifically for MicroFluent's current data collection model and internal database use. Should the business model change to include commercialization or direct client access to the database, this policy will be revised accordingly.
